Halo: Master Chief Collection Devs Want To Know What You Thought Of It

In what could probably be the most predictable outcome of a request ever, 343 Industries are asking Halo fans what they thought of the Halo: Master Chief Collection and what you'd like to see added to the game. The developers took to the Halo Waypoint forums to ask people their honest thoughts on the game's current incarnation and well as asking for feedback as to what they'd like to see added to the next update for the game.

"With this project in particular we are excited to foster a new relationship with our fans – one that is built on transparency, honesty, and consistency. We've been working to change how we communicate externally as well as internally, while also improving how we listen and process feedback. This partnership is built on two-way communication and throughout this project you can expect regular updates straight from the trenches with an open, honest look at the successes and challenges of a project as ambitious and complicated as MCC."

The post was updated on Wednesday with a new list of items that they're already fixing, as seen below. We can't speak for all fans, but personally, we like to see a dedicated Griffball system as opposed to having to go through the download process and deal with trying to add it into the game ourselves. But that's just wishful fan thinking. What would you like to see them change or add?

For the sake of discussion, please note the following:

  • Networking and online improvements are already well underway, you don't need to pick that as your top new feature
  • Dedicated servers for all matchmade games is also already in the spec for the update work
  • Bringing MCC to PC isn't considered a feature – we know for sure there's a ton of demand for that, we've heard you there
  • Visual enhancements for Xbox One X are already in the current project scope
