Pokémon GO Expands Community Day Due to Unsurprising Server Issues

Raise your hands if you didn't see this one coming! Due to several server issues happening in a few different regions, Pokémon GO's Community Day will get an extension to include people who were left out of the event. Below are a couple of tweets the company released late last night, confirming players in Asia-Pacific region were left out of the event.

Its the latest in server problems that Niantic have had to deal with, and while this one was taken care of fairly quickly and players were given a three more hours to play, it shows that there are still problems that Niantic needs to iron out of the game after a year and a half of being online. To those of you who didn't have any issues with the event, congrats to you for being able to play and hopefully snagging a Dratini in the process.
