Read Control #1, Part of Dynamite's Fan Gear Pack Deal

To go with Dynamite's new Fan Gear Pack Kickstarter, the publisher has sent us two free comics involved in the project. The Fan Gear Pack features graphic novels, prints, t-shirts for Vampirella, Control, and Grand Passion. The idea is to not only bring out new merchandise based on these properties, but to introduce them to new readers. The Dynamite Fan Gear Kickstarter campaign is currently live, and you can find it right here.

Today's free comic is the first issue of the crime thriller Control by Andy Diggle, Angela Cruickshank, and Andrea Mutti.

Detective-Sergeant Kate Burnham isn't making any friends in the Washington DC Police Department. That makes her the perfect scapegoat when a routine homicide investigation threatens to blow open a criminal conspiracy that reaches to the upper echelons of the DC power elite. Kate makes it go away, or they make her go away. Cop or criminal, power is all about control, applied top-down from the penthouse elite to the hustlers on the street. But what happens when the street pushes back…?
