Mickey Mouse food is the best food. Everything tastes better with a little bit of Disney magic, and these cookies are no exception! Get your aprons ready, and be prepared to make your own at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup bitter or semisweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sugar cookies
  • Black candy melts
  • Red candy melts
  • Yellow candy coated chocolates

Directions

  1. Place chocolate and butter in microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and heat for another 15 seconds.

  2. Add 2 egg yolks to chocolate. Whisk together. Set aside.

  3. Pour 2 cups of heavy whipping cream into a chilled bowl. Beat on medium speed until cream starts to thicken.

  4. Add sugar and vanilla and whisk until cream starts to form stiff peaks.

  5. Use a spatula to fold cooled chocolate mixture into whipped cream. Chill for a few hours.

  6. Melt red candy melts and black candy melts in separate bowls. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir. Repeat until fully melted.

  7. Dip sugar cookie into black candy melts and smooth over entire cookie. Repeat.

  8. Dip sugar cookies into red candy melts and smooth over entire cookie. Set aside all three cookies.

  9. Place three sugar cookies face-down on a plate. Scoop chocolate mousse onto cookies.

  10. Finish the cookie sandwich by placing the cookies with candy melt on top.

  11. Place two yellow candy coated chocolates on top of the red cookie.

  12. Enjoy!
