Pokémon GO‏ Launch Their New Lunar Event On February 17th

While there seems to be an ongoing login issue with Pokémon GO at the moment, Niantic has set up their next worldwide event to kick off on Saturday, February 17th. The next event was announced via the game’s Twitter account, in which they revealed it would be their own Lunar event coinciding with the Chinese New Year and focus on the theme of “Year Of The Dog” with a few select canine choices from the Pokémon lexicon.

No end-date was given for the event and there were no clues left behind on how best to catch these specific Pokémon, so at best guess we have to assume they’ll be available based on rarity and random generation. We wish you the best of luck finding them, that is if you can manage to log on. As of when we posted this, Niantic still has yet to issue any updates as to fixing the problems.
