Lion Forge is the latest publisher to bring its digital library to Madefire, according to a press release sent out by the publisher today. All of the Lion Forge comics currently available digitally, including the Catalyst Prime universe, Voltron Legendary Defender, Andre the Giant: Closer to Heaven, and more. New issues will be available each Wednesday when they’re released.

To commemorate this corporate union just two days before Valentine’s Day, Lion Forge president Geoff “Jeff” Gerber offered a complimentary quote about Madefire’s services in a press release.

“Madefire offers a premium reader experience and convenient consumer experience with its unrivaled platform. Lion Forge believes that innovation should be harnessed to serve comic book fans and this does just that,” Gerber said. “Additionally, in pursuit of our mantra—Comics for Everyone—we think that digital distribution provides important opportunities for discovery by new readers and strengthens the entire industry, including new readers for print books.”

In the business deal equivalent of saying “I know” when someone says “I love you,” Madefire offered no complimentary press release quote in return. Download the Madefire app at whatever digital app store is appropriate for your favorite gizmo.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
