Shazam! Director David F. Sandberg Shares the Sivana Industries Logo on Reddit

Shazam! director David F. Sandberg seems keen to go against the grain when it comes to making a major superhero movie. He's a lot like James Gunn in that he regularly interacts with fans on social media and calls out reports that are untrue. It seems fans have caught on that he's playing a different game and asked him he'd be willing to share a picture from the set of Shazam! on Reddit instead of traditional press outlets. So Sandberg did.

While fans were probably hoping for a look at the costume, they shouldn't be surprised they didn't get one — but a logo is a pretty cool thing to look at. Not that this is the first time a member of the Shazam! crew has teased the costume, as star Zachary Levi did a few days ago:

Better get comfortable, fans; you have have a bit of wait before we see anything significant. Some concept art and maybe some teaser footage seems most likely to drop in Hall H at Comic-Con International. Maybe if you get in line now you have a chance of getting in.

Summary: A boy is given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word.

Shazam!, directed by David F. Sandberg, stars Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Asher Angel, and will be written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke. It will be released on April 5th, 2019.
