What If… The Governor was Hillary Clinton? Walking Dead #176 Introduces Pamela Milton (Spoilers)

Today's The Walking Dead #176 introduces us to a brand new Big Bad. Or potentially a Big Good. Much is undecided. But this arc is entitled New World Order, and Michonne, Eugene, Princess and more have come to find a new community, a new civilisation, and a new leader.

Not before Eugene gets to meet Stephanie, the woman he was talking with on the CB Radio that alerted him to this community's existence in the first place. And although the comic is in black and white, you know that jumper is going to be orange, and that this is Velma off of Scooby Doo.

Before we get to meet Pamela herself.

Shining beacon on the hill — that's rather Reagan-y. She's pragmatic, a hawk, born to lead, entitled, relishing in tough decisions but acknowledging the price that has to be paid.

Just knowing it's a price worth paying. Governor of the Commonwealth. A New World Order. A charge put against her by some…

Oh, and she's really up herself. Total Hillary Clinton vibes. The Walking Dead are lucky to have her…

I wonder if the comic would have still gone this way if Hillary had won? Or if now Michonne would be facing an ex-reality TV star and business magnate who put his name all over the Commonwealth and trying to grab her?

And if the TV series gets this far, is Amy Poehler available?
