Fortnite Fans Now Have a New Mixer HypeZone Channel for the Game

If you've been enjoying the PUBG HypeZone channel on Mixer, you might enjoy the latest addition as Microsoft has created a Fortnite channel. HypeZone Fortnite will operate the same as the PUBG channel does, showing off live clips of people playing the game in some of the most impactful moments. After the success of the first channel, they took fan suggestions and opened up a new channel, which is live right now. Below are some of the finer details about what will be featured per their press release this morning.

With Fortnite reaching more than 45 million players, HypeZone Fortnite is hosting the most intense action from Fortnite's FREE 100-player PvP mode: one giant map, a battle bus, Fortnite building skills, destructible environments, all combined with unyielding PvP combat — the last one standing wins. HypeZone Fortnite lasers in on that intensity through a channel that shows viewers only the final moments of action. Here's what it does.

  • HypeZone switches between Mixer streamers closest to winning the coveted Victory Royale, hosting the streamer until they either win or die. This gives viewers the opportunity to discover streamers of all levels during the most intense moments of the game.
  • HypeZone knows the distance between the players and the win, plus with Hosting 2.0, Mixer has made it easy to follow those streamers featured on HypeZone and cheer them on.
  • For the streamers who make it onto HypeZone Fortnite, they will accrue all the views associated with their time on the channel, along with the added surprise visit of potentially hundreds of extra viewers when being featured.
