Hasbro Coming Out With A "Cheaters" Version Of Monopoly

I don't think there's a single person on the planet who has played Monopoly and not cheated at some point in time. And why not? The game is basically a lightning rod for ruthless economic behavior int he housing industry, and the people you're bilking are your friends and family. We once caught my mom hiding $500's inside a bag of Doritos, so yeah, no one is above cheating at the game by any means possible. Well, now you can cheat and be guilt free as Hasbro are releasing a new version of the game called Monopoly: Cheater's Edition. The game comes with cards and special places on the board that encourage cheating, and even come with handcuffs if you're caught!

Among the cheats you can do to other players are: taking extra money from the bank passing Go, removing hotels from properties, moving someone else's token, giving someone less money on rent, placing a hotel on your property without buying it, collecting someone else's rent, and escaping from the handcuffs while in jail. No word on an official release date beyond "fall 2018", but the game will be only $20, which is a steal compared to other versions of Monopoly floating around these days.
