Bungie Publishes the Roadmap for Destiny 2 Across Seasons 2 and 3

Today, Bungie decided to take the initiative of letting their fans know just exactly where Destiny 2 would be headed over the next few months and released a roadmap detailing the changes and updates on the way over the course of Season 2 and 3. Game director Christopher Barrett made a quick address on an update post along with the image below, detailing some of the changes and updates on the way after the most recent update last week (1.1.2) took effect, saying "Everything you'll find below will be delivered to every player of Destiny 2. Some of these delivery dates may change, but everything you see listed here is being worked on the by the team. While there are larger projects in development, these are the game enhancements you'll find in your immediate future."

The first of these updates, 1.1.3, will be kicking off on February 27th, with a big focus on social elements as well as Strikes. A lot of what you see here is essentially improvements and subtle changes, nothing that will radically impact how the game will be played moving forward. The more interesting stuff is in March and May as they'll implement new game modes like  6v6 Iron Banner, and the Eater of Worlds prestige mode. Time will tell how these updates will affect the game for better or worse.
