Today Capcom released another sizable batch of PS4 gameplay of Monster Hunter World this time focusing on the Rotten Vale and the monsters we'll find there once the game launches later this month.

The gameplay is narrated by  European Brand Manager Brian Ayers, who does a really good job of blending in with the game's atmosphere thanks to his booming voice. At the controls is Game Director Yuya Tokuda who shows us around the Rotten Vale. As the name implies, the area's key feature is the high amount of rotting carcasses of monsters which creates a very peculiar ecology. As you might expect from a valley of rotting corpses.

The first monster we meet is Rodabaan, followed by the predator Odogaron, which, while smaller, is actually at the top of the food chain. The video promptly demonstrates that by showing the two fighting against each other. After watching the action, Tokuda lures the Odogaron into a lair of a Great Girros by using the Challenge Mantle, that can taunt a monster to follow you with its shiny scales.

Tokuda takes some time to show off the sword and shield gameplay this time around, which is a special treat. Since it isn't as flashy as other styles, we don't get to see it often.

If you want to see more of Monster Hunter World, you can enjoy another gameplay trailer focusing on the Coral Highlands the latest trailer featuring the other elder dragons including Kirina hilarious Otoshidama commercial from Sony, a showcase on what's new for your Palicos this time around, and some information on the game's final PS4 beta starting on January 19th.

The game will release worldwide on January 26th, for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming this fall. Oh, and it won't be taking up much harddrive space when it arrives. You can check out the Rotten Vale below.
