Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Kicking Off Rover Event This Week

A lot of people were curious as to when they'd see the Rover event kick off for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, as there was a lot of unknown information floating around and a few misleading dates being reported. This week, we finally got confirmation via the game's Japanese Twitter account that the event will be kicking off on January 11th.

If you're not entirely up to speed on what this event is, basically its a chance to snag more new gear for your camp. As Siliconrea has shown off on their website, the event will bring about "a Rover hat and shirt, flooring, a table, a counter, a teapot, a lamp and even some sort of fencing." There aren't a lot of details being shared beyond that, but it stands to reason there will be a number of achievements attached to them that Nintendo is keeping secret and don't wish for anyone to pre-plan or strategize on how to get them right as the event kicks off. For those of you looking to take part in the event, there is also no confirmed time for the start, so you'll just have to keep a lookout for it to begin.
