Dragon Ball FighterZ's Beta Roster Has a Surprising Amount of Characters to Play With

The roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ has been announced, and it's surprisingly large, promising players a very good look at the game when they boot it up later this month.

Betas seem to get more and more generous as time goes on. From whole multiplayer modes to decent sized chunks of stories, developers really are beginning to let more and more of their games out there in an attempt to get players on board and hooked, ready to purchase the game. Dragon Ball FighterZ beta will be no exception. In fact, it is really letting players get in there and mess around with a lot of its characters.

Bandai Namco has released the full roster of characters set to appear in the beta and it consists of a whopping 11 characters. That is a sizeable chunk of the full game's 23 person roster, and what's more, it consists of some real fan favorites. These are basically most of the well-known characters in the franchise, so casual fans who are dipping back into the series for the first time in a long time will likely know who is who when they hop in. In the beta, you will be able to play with:

Nappa
Vegeta
Goku
Piccolo
Krillin
Cell
Android 18
Frieza
Beerus
Kid Buu
Adult Gohan

The beta itself is set to kick off on January 13 for those who preordered but will then open to everyone and continue to run between January 14 – 16. There is bound to be a lot of interest in the game what with there being a lot of buzz; buzz that is especially louder than would be for a normal Dragon Ball game (of which there is many). People are excited and just by watching any footage of the game, it's not hard to see why. It really does look pretty wild with an instantly eye-catching art style. I have no doubt the beta will go a long way in both satiating and whetting players appetites.
