Nerd Food: Dark Chocolate Gingerbread Mickey

Disney World takes the holiday season more seriously than most of us do. Almost everything on property gets a holiday makeover — especially the food. Inside of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, guests can marvel at the life-sized gingerbread house (which I'll get to ASAP!) and purchase gingerbread treats. I opted for a classic dark chocolate Mickey cookie, but you can get other (smaller) gingerbread houses, ornaments, and more!

For roughly $7, I got a decent-sized cookie — and it was fresh, too! I'm used to packaged goods like this to be on the hard side, but this was pretty soft, and the chocolate melted with only a few seconds of contact with my hand. I normally don't like dark chocolate, but the flavors worked well together. Would I buy it again? Probably not — you can spend $7 on better things in the park. But for the sake of Nerd Food, why not?
