'Pokémon GO' Secret Japan Raid Tests Feature Ho-Oh

Pokémon GO Hub was the first to break the news to global fans that players in Japan have stumbled across a special Ho-oh EX Raid for the legendary creature. The details themselves are kind of sketchy since the raid was done secretly and only a few of the people doing the raid were smart enough to take screenshots while trying to locate and battle him, but the photo below is pretty clear that he is now a playable Pokémon for EX Raids.

Which now leads to the bigger question: When are we going to see him come out of testing and into the game. If Niantic holds their current pattern of special raids, we might see him added during their holiday event, whatever that may entail. Only time will tell…
