Get Your First Look At Origin Of Wonder Woman’s Brother, Jason Woman, In Wonder Woman #35 Preview

Ever since it was announced that Wonder Woman would get a new creative team of James RobinsonCarlo Pagulayan, and Emanuela Lupacchino, fans have been wondering when they would finally have the opportunity to learn the backstory of Wonder Woman’s long lost brother, Jason Woman. For too long, Wonder Woman has dominated the storyline in her title, and following the incredible success of Wonder Woman’s movie, the only DCEU film with a positive Rotten Tomatoes score, it’s only natural that the ongoing comic should shift its focus to a man’s struggle for a change.

If you can’t even wait until the issue hits stores this Wednesday — and with the truth behind the mysterious Jason Woman waiting to be revealed, who could blame you? — you’re in luck because DC has released a preview of the comic. In a press release, DC writes:

Didn’t know Wonder Woman had a brother? Well, until pretty recently, neither did she. Diana first learned of her twin sibling, Jason, after battling Darkseid and his daughter Grail during Geoff Johns’ “Darkseid War.” Earlier this month, she met him for the very first time. And in this week’s WONDER WOMAN #35, we finally learn his story. Who is this mysterious man who has upended everything Diana thought she knew about her life?

Where Diana was raised among the Amazons of Themyscira and would go on to become one of the world’s greatest superheroes, her brother’s childhood was far quieter. Raised far out of the spotlight, Jason’s life was one of fishing and simple pleasures. At least until he learned that he, too, had some unique abilities. But will those lead him down a path of heroism…or evil? Perhaps a clue can be found in this exclusive first look…

Wonder Woman #35 is in stores November 22. Check out the preview below.

“TIMES PAST” part two! Raised on the Grecian isles, Wonder Woman’s long-hidden brother, Jason, tried to lead a simple life, running away from his birthright. But when Darkseid’s daughter, Grail, learns of his existence, will he be ready for the chaos she brings with her?

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
