Guillermo Del Toro Shares Some Behind-The-Scene Pictures From The Shape Of Water

Guillermo del Toro loves a lot of things but one of the things he seems to love above all else is bringing some amazing monsters to life on screen. It's been a staple of del Toro's work for years. He's also a fan of practical effects and loves showing off the details that go into his work. That's why this latest series of tweets is so cool. Del Toro shared some of the steps taken to make the creature in the upcoming The Shape of Water. As always del Toro's eye for details when it shows as he goes step by step to creating the creature.

The Shape of Water is looking like it could be a real award contender with Fox Searchlight putting a lot of money behind the movie. It looks amazing, del Toro is one of the best directors working right now, and should be high on your list of movies to seek out once it's released.

Summary: In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa's life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda discover a secret classified experiment.

The Shape of Water, directed by Guillermo del Toro, stars Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Doug Jones. Look for it in theaters starting December 8th.
