Marvel Spoils The Whole Of Avengers #675 With No Surrender Teaser Trailer

Why wait to read about it the day before it's released on USA Today when you can watch it on video now? In a move that's sure to infuriate their now longest-tenured continuous writer, Marvel Comics today spoiled essentially the whole of Avengers #675 months before its release with a teaser trailer for the weekly Avengers event, No Surrender. Here's the description of the event:

"Well, we bursted out of class. Had to get away from those fools. We learned more from a 3-minute record, baby, than we ever learned in school. Tonight I hear the neighborhood drummer sound. I can feel my heart begin to pound. You say you're tired and you just want to close your eyes and follow your dreams down. Well, we made a promise we swore we'd always remember: no retreat, baby, no surrender. Like soldiers in the winter's night with a vow to defend: no retreat, baby, no surrender."

Sorry, it turns out that is not the description of the blockbuster Marvel Comics event No Surrender, but rather the lyrics to No Surrender, the track from legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen's hit 1984 album Born in the USA. Here's the actual description of the event, from the press release:

"Co-written by Mark Waid, Al Ewing and Jim Zub with art by Pepe Larraz, Kim Jacinto and Paco Medina, AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER unites the casts and creative teams of three titles into one weekly book of exciting action. It all starts with AVENGERS #675 this January, when the teams of THE AVENGERS, UNCANNY AVENGERS, and U.S. AVENGERS come together in a story as exciting and powerful as the Marvel Universe itself."

You know what, we like The Boss's description better.

Avengers #675 is in stores on January 15th, but again, you might as well wait until the next week, because it's all basically spoiled in the video below:
