Kevin Feige Confirms That Captain Marvel Will Be In Avengers 4

We still don't know that much about Captain Marvel but considering that the movie doesn't start shooting until next year that isn't that surprising. However, there have been rumors, and people have been assuming, that Captain Marvel would be making an appearance in Avengers 4. In a recent interview with IndieWire Marvel producer Kevin Feige spoke about female representation going forward in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Captain Marvel in particular.

Captain Marvel

"There are a lot of discussions, they all focus on the post-Phase Three, 'Avengers' 4 film, so nothing that we'll get into publicly," he recently said in an interview with IndieWire. "We're really focusing on 'Captain Marvel' and the work that Anna and Ryan are doing. It's going to be a big part of heading towards this epic conclusion and epic finale of 22 movies over the course of 10 years. That is focus for the next six movies we have to finish and get out."

It sounds like Feige is mostly focused on trying to get the rest of Phase 3 wrapped up but he does, finally, confirm that Captain Marvel will 100% be in Avengers 4.

"Really, the focus now is on delivering 'Captain Marvel' and then bringing Captain Marvel's story into the finale of everything we've started thus far."

So maybe we'll see Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in a after-credits scene before her movie debut. It wouldn't be that surprising.

Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, and Anthony Mackie. It will be released on May 4th, 2018.
