The 'Resident Evil' Board Game Nearing $1M On Kickstarter

Today, the creators of Resident Evil: The Board Game passed the 800k mark and are well on their way to earning one-million dollars to fund a campaign that only requested less than $200k to begin with. The fanbase for the series, much like the zombies, are totally rabid and want to see this thing made. Steamforged Games Ltd. have formed a partnership with Capcom to produce the title, and much like other Kickstarter funds, there are bonuses to be earned when they reach a certain dollar amount. Fans have already unlocked Brian Irons and Brian Irons from Resident Evil 2, and as soon as they update the page, they will have unlocked a Bandaged Leon as well as playable characters in the game.

If you wish to contribute to the game's funding, you can do so at their Kickstarter page, as they have less than 48 hours to go as of when we post this.
