Heavy Metal Magazine Addresses Issues With Missing Or Delayed Orders
Recently, Bleeding Cool has been aware of a number of dissatisfied customers who ordered a number of comics, magazine and prints in the recent Heavy Metal warehouse sale but have yet to receive either the goods or a refund.
Bleeding Cool took these issues to Heavy Metal who, after looking into the specifics, issued the following statement,
Notice To Buyers
We wanted to write a note to buyers from our warehouse closing sale who may still be experiencing issues with their orders.
Unfortunately, during what was a very complicated move, we discovered the people managing the warehouse were not shipping orders or not managing quality control. They were removed and, with a very short window of time, a team was brought in to fill and ship the outstanding orders – over 1,000.
Most people have received their orders, but if you are still waiting on your order, if you are missing items from your order please contact shop@heavymetal.com and you will receive an update or a refund for your missing or undelivered items. In some cases we no longer had the items in stock or the items were already on their way to the new fulfillment center.
If you are outside the United States, your items were sent via the new fulfillment center and most likely your order is on the way to you now and should arrive within the next week.
To make sure nothing like this happens again, Heavy Metal partnered with Bandwear, a Texas based company that fulfills merchandise shipments for thousands of bands worldwide. They rely on the highest standard of quality control and now manage our new shop.
We know how frustrating this has been for many people and our fans are what matter most to us and have kept us going for 40 years. We want to ensure that our fans' experience is second to none. As such, we are offering a make good 80% off sale from October 27th – 31st so if you are missing something from your order, and we have it in stock, you can get it for even less than before.
We have some things planned for our fans over the next few months that peel back the curtain on 40 years of amazing art and stories!
