‘A Wrinkle In Time’ Brings On Game Of Thrones Composer Ramin Djawadi

A Wrinkle In Time is picking up a truly fantastic composer for the last parts of the editing process. Director Ava DuVernay announced on Twitter that composer Ramin Djawadi is coming on to score the film. Djawadi is probably most known for his work on Game of Thrones, but he’s also composed music for such movies as Pacific Rim and other TV properties like Westworld and The Strain.

Djawadi is one of the big up-and-comers of the music world, and while he has composed for some big movies, he’s been doing more television these days. However, the Game of Thrones music is loved by people who don’t even like Game of Thrones. DuVernay appears to be putting everything into A Wrinkle in Time, and it sounds like she’s just as happy as everyone to get Djawadi on the team.

Summary: After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother, and her friend to space in order to find him.

A Wrinkle in Time, directed by Ava DuVernay, stars Storm Reid, Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, and Zach Galifianakis. It will be released March 9th, 2018.
