'Pokémon GO' Players Are Experiencing Login Issues Today

Add this to the list of issues Pokémon GO players have had to deal with over the past six months. Early this morning, Niantic started receiving multiple complaints of people not being able to log into the app. Apparently, the issue was so wide-spread, the company had to send out this tweet today letting everyone know they're looking into the problem.

The issue couldn't have come at a worse time, seeing as how the game is currently wrapped up in the Equinox event, which is slowly becoming one of their most popular events, but this is sure to set the numbers back as people not only can't play but can't even use other functions like the shop. Compound this with all the problems the company has had at live events, previous bugs that have taken the game offline for hours at a time, the more than just occasional bad spawn points for newer Pokémon, and a growing distrust from the community on Twitter and Reddit of the parent company Niantic to get anything right… Things just aren't looking too good publicly for the game. Hopefully, the login issue will be solved sometime today.
