Skybound's Kill The Minotaur Being Developed As A Feature

Skybound, as part of their first look deal, and Universal are developing a feature film based on the comic series Kill the Minotaur by writer's Christian Cantamessa and Chris Pasetto with art by Lukas Ketner and Jean-Francois Beaulieu. The series debuted in June as is based on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. King Minos forces Theseus to enter the labyrinth that was constructed to keep the Minotuar inside… with the idea of killing the creature that eats human sacrifices before it can escape.

Skybound's Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst, and Sean Furst are expected as producers. Cantamessa and Pasetto are attached to write the feature adaptation Kill the Minotaur.

"When we created the comic we wanted to put our own spin on a classic Greek myth, incorporating strong relatable characters and spectacular scenes so it would read like a blockbuster movie," said Chris Pasetto and Christian Cantamessa. "It's a dream come true that we can now make this story come alive on the big screen."
