Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals A Character Returning For Avengers 4

We all know there are going to be bodies of heroes on the ground by the time Avengers: Infinity War rolls around. They're doing a very good job at hiding who those bodies are going to end up being, but it looks like Gwyneth Paltrow may have revealed a character who will survive Infinity War during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter:

"I went to Atlanta to do Avengers 4, so I'm in and out for that, and it's weird to go back and forth. We're growing fast, and balls are dropping all the time. But honestly, I was on set and thought, 'You sit here for two hours sipping tea, Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle are making me laugh hysterically — why the hell did I give this up?'"

This could mean any number of things. We don't know if the Infinity Gauntlet in this Marvel universe has the ability to bring people back to life, but it certainly could. They could be bringing people back in Avengers 4 after they die in Infinity War. The problem with solving death in a movie universe is that it kind of breaks the universe in half. How do you have stakes when people can't die? Maybe they can only bring back a few people then they can't use the gauntlet anymore? They could work around it.

For now we know that Rhodey, AKA War Machine, will likely survive round one with Thanos. We'll have to see.

Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, and Anthony Mackie. It will be released on May 4th, 2018.

Avengers 4 comes out May 3rd, 2019.
