As The Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary HC Slips A Week, Retailers Will Be Allowed To Sell It A Day Early

Originally, the Harley Quinn A Celebration Of 25 Years HC by Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Amanda Conner and others was scheduled to ship next week rather than this week, as intended. But, just as happened this week with the collected Dark Knight III: The Master Race in hardcover, Harley’s hardcover has been delayed a week. Like Dark Knight III, it was intended to debut in comic stores six days before the Tuesday bookstore release date, now it is scheduled in comic stores a day after the bookstore street date.

So, again, just like Dark Knight III, DC Comics and Diamond have told retailers they can too sell the volume on the Tuesday 19th, just like the bookstores, without breaking direct market street date. That’s if the stores get the comics on the Tuesday. And if they have time to locate the volumes and get them on the shelves…

Is this going to be a regular thing going on?

Twenty-five years? Seriously? Okay, yes, it’s true: It’s been a quarter of a century since Dr. Harleen Quinzel showed up and stole our hearts, our wallets and our dignity. Celebrate 25 years of Harley in this new hardcover that guest stars The Joker, Batman, Poison Ivy and many more!
