The Pink Signature Walking Dead #171 Is Now A $100 Comic (Give Or Take)

We've been following the aftermarket demand and sales for Walking Dead #171, the first appearance of new character The Princess. There's also a certain variant cover defined by a pink signature on the outside and seven extra pages from #172 on the inside. Once people worked out there was such a variant, somewhere between 1:10 and 1:20, the price jumped to $40 the day before sale. It was expected that increased supply might dull that amount, but instead it jumped to $50, $60, and $75.

And today? $100.

OK, that also includes a copy of the standard cover but that's a $2.99 comic that sells for $2.19 on eBay. So maybe call it $97-$98?

The lucky seller was American store, Mission Collectibles.
