Getting A Look At 'Conarium' For Console At PAX West

Conarium is already an impressive title from Iceberg Interactive that's gotten a lot of praise for their PC version. However, the PAX West build we got to see this year is the one on the way for consoles. If you haven't played Conarium, it's basically an exploration game where you're practically living in a Lovecraft world, trying to figure out what happened to the rest of your research crew who have vanished as you deal with headaches and a ship that isn't quite what it seems.

From what I could tell (and from holding an Xbox controller), this version of the game plays just as well as the PC version does. No problems with graphics, nothing removed or cheapened to make the console version work. If anything, I felt like I had better maneuvering in this version and more freedom to explore, even though I know I was playing the same game. No dates were given beyond "2018" as the release date for consoles, nor was it revealed if we'd be seeing it on the Nintendo Switch at all as PS4 and Xbox One were pretty much a given. Right now, I'd say it's good to come out immediately.
