Bigben and the development studio Appeal are giving you the opportunity to learn more about the creation of Outcast: Second Contact through a series of encounters and interviews with the game designers.
In this first video, Yves Grolet (Game Director and co-founder of Appeal) and Franck Sauer (Artistic Director and co-founder of Appeal) talk about everything that inspired the origin of the world of Adelpha. They created the original game, and go back to what led them to develop a living and systematic world in which each character has a unique personality.
Outcast: Second Contact is the complete remake on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of the cult game Outcast. Outcast was the first 3D open world in the history of video games and a true pioneer of the modern action-adventure genre, the original game won over 100 awards, including adventure game of the year.
In Outcast, players take on the role of Cutter Slade, an elite soldier with a strong character, sent to an alien planet as Earth’s last chance.
