New Arrowverse Trailers Gives Us Glimpse Of Series Returns
Another trailer dropped during last night's Vixen — see, I told you to watch it — this one gives new footage from the returning CW Arrowverse series Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl.
Supergirl let us see Maggie and Alex on a date night that turns into a police chase, plus we get a look at Cat Grant speaking at the presidential briefing podium. On the Flash is looks like Cisco Ramon is helping out the CCPD and Barry is still giving Captain Singh the wrong answers. Legends of Tomorrow looks like they're going to have some fun in the Roman Empire and things get explosive.
What stands out the most to me is how little of Arrow we got to see. There is a clip of Oliver putting on a tie, of Deathstroke walking into the burning woods and the new Black Canary fighting. Since those characters were already confirmed as surviving Lian Yu, they were safe to show. But even ones we know are coming back like Wild Dog and Black Siren aren't shown, and maybe that's because we don't know how they will be effected by the island deathtrap. Just because they survive, it doesn't guarantee that it's in one piece.
Supergirl returns October 9th, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow October 10th, and Arrow on October 11th.
