Amazon is offering viewers their first extended look at their upcoming crime drama series Tin Star, unveiling the first trailer and announcing that the series will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on September 29th.

The 10-episode series stars award-winning actors Tim Roth (The Hateful Eight) and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), working from a script by Rowan Joffé (28 Weeks Later, The American) and produced through Kudos (The Tunnel: Sabotage, Humans, Broadchurch).

Set in the majestic Canadian Rockies, Tin Star tells the story of a British former detective who brings his family to the tiny, tranquil town of Little Big Bear for a better life. But when his small town is overrun by migrant workers from a massive new oil refinery, the wave of organized crime that follows them threatens to sweep away everything in its wake and dig up the past. That "past" includes a secret about Jim that not many people know: Jim's not the man we think he is but is in fact "Jack." "Jack" is the name of Jim's alcoholic alter-ego, who's more unpredictable, noticeably charismatic, and infinitely more threatening than Jim could ever be. Hendricks is set to play Elizabeth Bradshaw, a corporate liaison for the new oil refinery with her own agenda.
