Nintendo Briefly Shows Off 'Metroid: Samus Returns' In New Trailer

The images are super brief, but for 30 seconds, Metroid is looking pretty amazing. A few weeks ahead of release, Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for Metroid: Samus Returns before the game drops onto the Nintendo 3DS on September 15th. The ad itself feels like a throwback to the Nintendo commercials of old, where you'd get a brief intro and then just get bombarded with imagery from the game while a voice tells you how awesome everything you're seeing is. If Nintendo were aiming for nostalgia to get you to buy a new Metroid game, they hit the nail right on the head. Now if we could just get them to make a new Metroid game for the Nintendo Switch that didn't have the word Smash Bros. in the title, we'd be set! Enjoy the trailer!
