Koei Tecmo Reveal 'Attack On Titan 2' With A New Trailer

Koei Tecmo dropped a bit of an anime game bombshell this morning as they posted a new trailer for Attack On Titan 2. The game will be a direct sequel to the first one, most likely to still loosely follow the main plot of the anime while taking liberties to create missions where you delimb and kill off giant naked or skinless creatures called Titans. Beyond that, there's no real info to speak of, just the announcement trailer we've provided below along with a brief description from Koei Tecmo.

There was mention in the press release of showing off more details of Attack On Titan 2 in the weeks to come, so hopefully we'll get something more concrete at PAX West. The trailer itself looks like they cleaned everything up nicely, so here's hoping it will aesthetically be more pleasing to the eye compared to the first game.

Building on the fast-paced action the series is famous for, and featuring an abundance of new gameplay mechanics, the gripping sequel will be released across America as Attack On Titan 2 in Early 2018. Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Manoeuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls.
