Wolfenstein Comic Preview Fails To Place Blame On Both Sides Of Conflict

Titan has released the first interior art for Wolfenstein #1, the comic book preview to the upcoming video game, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Wolfenstein Comic Preview Fails To Place Blame On Both Sides Of Conflict

But readers looking for a fair and balanced take on the conflict between alt-left hero BJ Blacowitz and the literal Nazis who have taken over the United States in an alternate history where Germany won World War II using occult powers to fuel an unprecedented reign of terror may be disappointed. The comic's take appears to be very one-sided, seemingly refusing to show that there are any nice people on the Nazis' side who simply want to preserve their culture through peaceful protest, weaponized human experiments, and technological horrors. Fake news. Sad.

From the press release:

Written by Dan Watters (Limbo, Assassin's Creed: Uprising) with art by Piotr Kowalski (SEX, Dark Souls) and Ronilson Freire (The Mummy), Wolfenstein #1 is an all-new comics prequel to the hotly anticipated first-person action blockbuster from Bethesda Softworks, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which continues the adventures of B.J. Blazkowicz as he leads the resistance against an occupied America.

In Titan Comics' new series join B.J. Blazkowicz as he returns to take on the fascists in this new comic, based on the much beloved gaming franchise. Can he stop the march of goose-stepping boots? Or will the sinister Hans Hartmann be victorious?

Wolfenstein #1 hits stores on September 13th. Check out the preview below:
