Figuarts Homemade Suit Spider-Man Swings Into Preorders…And Into My Heart

S.H. Figuarts continues to wow with their line of 6-inch figures across all properties, but their Marvel ones are where they shine for me. I wish they could get wider distribution in the US, as importing always costs an arm and a leg, but it is what it is. Up next for them is their Spider-Man: Homecoming Homemade Suit Spidey, and since I am all in on that version of Peter, looks like I will be importing yet another one of these gorgeous figures. Here are all the details:

From the enthusiastic 2017 summer movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, the hero and main character himself, Spider-Man comes again to the S.H.Figuarts series! Made by Peter Parker from various scrap materials, the "homemade suit"version of Spider-Man becomes an action figure. With interchangeable head part,it's even easier to faithfully re-create scenes from the movie.

Just look at all the different Spidey poses you can accomplish. The wall shots are the best; that is 100% how I am going to display mine when it comes out of the box. I will say that the head sculpt with the hood up is a little weird-looking; it looks like a red blob with eyes. So, that just means I will go with the superior hood down look.

This Spider-Man looks like it will be released in December of this year. He is not cheap, running around $90 since it is an import, but Figuarts are usually worth the extra cash. If you are so inclined, you can preorder one for yourself here.
