Superman And Batman Top The Advance Reorders Charts, But Calexit Is Clearing Up The Bottom
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market, where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire! The charts are topped by Action Comics lenticular covers, Batman's Dark Nights Metal comic with Marvel's Secret Empire, Marvel Legacy, Generations and the Prox Transmissions OGN created in collaboration with Dustin Bates, lead singer and founder of the rock band Starset (yes, I'd forgotten that was coming, but retailers didn't) filling up most of the spots.
But towards the bottom, retailers are trying desperately to advance reorder more copies of Calexit #2, #3 and #4 as interest in that Black Mask title grows. As we mentioned, the second printing is almost sold out and probably going to a third…
