New Series 'Harley Loves Joker' Confirmed From DC Comics

Today's conclusion of the Harley Loves Joker back-up strip in the back of Harley Quinn #25 confirms what we heard yesterday that, yes, Harley Loves Joker is getting its own comic.

New Series 'Harley Loves Joker' Confirmed From DC Comics

By Paul Dini, Jimmy Palmiotti and Bret Blevins, it tells stories of Harley Quinn's earlier, more Batman: The Animated Series-like tales, with Harley's co-creator Paul Dini as part of the team. When Joker and Harley Quinn were still a couple, when she was in the Jester's jumpsuit and when the weapon of choice was a mallet rather than a baseball bat.

Expect the same creative team for the upcoming series of comics… and more than six pages in which to stretch their wings.

Running in the back of the main series since Harley Quinn #17, it was intended to contrast with the modern-day more independent version of the character who has rejected Joker as an abusive partner.

Coming soon… whatever that means.
