Destiny 2 Gets Two Exclusive Funko Pops At GameStop For Fans To Chase Down

Destiny 2 is hitting stores on September 6th, and in anticipation of the release we are getting two GameStop exclusive Funko Pops to celebrate the release:

"From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel. An action shooter that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system.

Humanity's last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city's Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity's scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home."

Man, those sculpts are awesome! Destiny is still insanely popular, so the sequel should be just as big, if not bigger. The Atheon is one of the more unique sculpts I have seen on a Pop; Funko really outdid themselves there. I love all the jagged edges and odd shape to the body. Even for non-fans of Destiny that just collect Pops, this is a neat little figure to add to your collection. Even the Xur is pretty cool looking, and the yellow eyes really make the rest of the figure pop (Ha! I didn't do that on purpose, I swear).

Both of these Destiny Funko Pops are available to preorder at GameStop right now, with some stores already seeing these on their shelves. Full street date is later on this month. For those who are not aware, Gamestop and Funko also announced a new partnership where you can get news, deals, and even free Funko Pops by signing up for their new program Funko Insider Club, which you can do right here.
