Bioware Designer Corey Gaspur Passes Away

Bioware released a statement late yesterday letting fans and industry colleagues know that Corey Gaspur has passed away. Gaspur was instrumental in several different games over the years and was practically a fixture at the company, working on titles such as Mass Effect 2 and 3, Dragon Age: Origins, and Sonic Chronicles. Most recently, he was the Lead Designer on Anthem.

In the statement, the company said "Corey was a talented designer and an even better person. We offer our condolences to Corey's family and everyone that knew him."

Our thoughts go out to his family, co-workers and loved ones.
