Japanese Arcades Getting 'Fate/Grand Order Arcade' In 2018

A lovely piece of news for people who love the Fate/ series, as Type-Moon delivered the news that Fate/Grand Order Arcade would be hitting Japanese arcades sometime next year. The news dropped on Friday during the Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017 anniversary celebration, as members of Type-Moon, Delight Works and Aniplex made the announcement that they teamed up with Sega to create the series and have it in cabinets within the next calendar year.

As you can see from the teaser trailer below, this will not be in the style of the mobile game, but more of a team-based action title based on the properties. A couple other sources reporting on it have likened it to Lord of Arcana, which seems like a fair comparison. The series itself has earned a nice fanbase with millions of downloads in the U.S. and Canada alone. It'll be interesting to see how this version does in its home country and whether or not they'll take a stab at bringing it to the west that same year or in 2019. For now, enjoy the trailer for Fate/Grand Order Arcade below.
