TL;DR Tells Stan Lee And Jack Kirby's Inhumans Among Us

The Fantastic Four may not be getting a whole lot of love elsewhere in the Marvel Universe, but they are in this weeks TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read)… well, sort of. What they're really doing here is going over the original introduction of the Inhumans from Fantastic Four #45 from December 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

At this point, Medusa was already introduced as part of the Frightful Four, but she goes to Johnny Storm / the Human Torch for help as she is being hunted by Gorgon. The story also introduces Crystal, Lockjaw, Black Bolt, Maximus, Triton, Karnak and the whole concept of Attilan and the Inhumans. The story runs into the first part of issue #48, which is the beginning of the story that introduces the world to the Silver Surfer and a guy named Galactus. Inhumans

This is a nice little 3-minute primer to introduce readers to the Inhuman royal family. Fans who read comics will be familiar with them and those that watch Marvel's Agents of SHIELD will at least get the idea of the Inumans, but the royal family will be new to them. Or they could wait until the first two episodes of Marvel's The Inhumans shows up in IMAX theaters on September 1st or on ABC on September 29th.

This episode of TL;DR was written by Max Dweck and Noah Sterling with art by Jarrett Williams.
