Marvel Comics Misgenders Its Own Superheroes In Marvel Book Previews

We've spent the last few days reading and re-reading the Marvel Book Previews. You can do the same. As did Bleeding Cool readers Mr. November and jd1234, who pointed out something intriguing in the introduction to the previews. Marvel showed off Thor, Iron Man and Hulk, alongside a description of the characters. There were just one problem: they were using the old descriptions.

"He" is Thor, the mightiest hero of the Ten Realms…Marvel Comics Misgenders Its Own Superheroes In Marvel Book Previews

"He" is the Armored Avenger…when Thor is currently Jane Foster and Iron Man stars Riri Williams, both pictured in their category, but not reflected by the gender or identity of the text.

And while this intro mentions She-Hulk as well as Hulk, it may be worth noting that it's Amadeus Cho these days. You know, until they change everything back. But still…left hand and right hand don't know what the other is writing?
