Paige Responds To Body-Shaming Tweets, Teases WWE Return

WWE Superstar Paige took to Twitter to respond to body-shaming social media posts prompted by a photo of her shared on Twitter over the weekend.

The "concern" began when the following photo was posted by Mexican producer Arturo Velasco:

Her "fans" instantly responded:

But Paige took to Twitter the next day with a rebuttal:

Paige later confirmed that the movie on the TV in her second photo was indeed The Karate Kid, and then teased a possible return to the ring in WWE when responding to fellow WWE wrestler Natalya:

Paige has been in the news recently following an altercation in an Orlando airport with fiancé Alberto El Patron. After audio recorded of the incident made headlines on TMZ and mainstream media outlets, her brother and fellow pro wrestler Roy Bevis claimed on Facebook to have photo evidence of abuse, while brother and fellow pro wrestler Zak Bevis posted that he feared "she will end up like Whitney Houston or Amy Winehouse…"

Paige later took to Twitter to refute the claims, saying it was she who was being detained for assault after throwing a drink at El Patron following "bickering about something so small" after receiving a phone call about her Uncle's failing health. Soon after, Orlando Police recommended she be charged with battery in an official statement, and later closed the investigation into El Patron, seemingly corroborating Paige's version of events.
