Marvel Comics To Publish Sampler Volume For Star Wars Reads Day In October

Star Wars Reads Day returns for a sixth time in October, where Lucasfilm and associated licenses promote and create Star Wars-related works of reading at bookstores, comic stores, schools, and libraries.

This year, Marvel Comics is producing a Star Wars Comics Sampler volume to be given away to curious folk, showing off work from their Star Wars, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Doctor Aphra, Poe Dameron, Princess Leia, and "Road To…" volumes.

And Lucasfilm will be helping to promote comic stores to their readers and those participating in Star Wars Reads Day.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Lucasfilm announced a number of projects that suit the occasion. A Thrawn adaptation from Marvel, and plenty of Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Last Jedi titles, as well as more on the Star Wars Adventures series.

Such titles include Chewie and the Porgs by Kevin Shinick and Fiona Hsieh; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Cobalt Squadron by Elizabeth Wein and Phil Noto; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Rose & Finn's Mission and Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Rey's Journey by Ella Patrick and Brian Rood; 5-Minute Star Wars Stories Strike Back from Pilot Studios; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Rey's Journey; The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi by Phil Szostak; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Visual Dictionary by Pablo Hidalgo; Star Wars: The Last Jedi Incredible Cross-Sections by Jason Fry and Kemp Remillard; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Bomber Command by Jason Fry; Star Wars Moviemaking Magic: Creatures and Aliens by Mark Salisbury; The Star Wars Cookbook: BB-Ate by Lara Starr and Matthew Carden; Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Heroes of the Galaxy by Ruth Amos; Star Wars: The Last Jedi Construction Book: TIE Silencer by Neal Manning and Rob Ball; Star Wars: The Last Jedi by David Fentiman; Star Wars: The Last Jedi Sound Book, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi Activity Book.
