Many of you are well aware of the YouTube channel Bat In The Sun. For a number of years now, they have delivered bombastic versus-style match-ups between your favorite superheroes and pop culture characters. Garnering a tremendous fan following along the way, it doesn’t look like Bat In The Sun is slowing down anytime soon; they’re going to continue putting out stellar content for years to come.

At the Bat In The Sun panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Aaron Schoenke, who you might recognize from his roles as the Joker and Nightwing in their videos, served as the moderator. Along with him were his father, then Jason David Frank (the original Green Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Kevin Porter, Tatiana Dekhtyar, Bryan Morton, and Jonathan Carroll.

They began the panel by showing their Wonder Woman vs. Wolverine short from a few months ago. As the panel continued, Jason David Frank seemed to carry the conversation, expressing nothing but the highest of compliments for Bat In The Sun, saying how they are a passionate lot, which in turn helps to fuel his passion.

Of course one of the most notable things that has brought Bat In the Sun to everyone’s attention in recent months, is their teaming up with Valiant Comics to do an internet web series, featuring Jason David Frank as Bloodshot and Kevin Porter as Armstrong in Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe. To that end, the big moment of the panel came in the form of some exclusive footage from the upcoming series.

The scene itself featured Bloodshot versus a small handful of thugs, systematically taking them out, and in ruthless fashion no less. The footage did an excellent job at showing the antihero’s powers, as he gets stabbed and shot in the head and body multiple times, along with getting his hand chopped off, only to heal from it all thanks to the nanites running through his system.

By the time the panel was wrapping up, you could tell there’s no place these people would rather be. Those who work at Bat In The Sun, live and breathe their fandom. For them, it’s the greatest job on Earth.
