Confirmed! You Can Catch Multiple Legendary Creatures In 'Pokémon GO'

There seems to be no shortage of bad news coming out of Chicago's Pokémon GO Fest. From not being able to log in to not finding all the legendary creatures to getting a refund in the form of in-game credits to excessively long lines—capping the majority of the problems off with Niantic's CEO John Hanke getting booed heavily on stage. It is essentially this gaming version of Fyre Festival.

Confirmed! You Can Catch Multiple Legendary Creatures In 'Pokémon GO'

To quell issues, the festival gave fans an automatic random legendary Pokémon at the gate near the end of the festival, then released two more creatures into the wild: Lugia and Articuno. And while that may have appeased some, the fact that gyms in the area were bombarded with players trying to snag them only added to the frustration.

The one ray of hope that came out of this was that people who managed to snag more than one got to keep them. Which means that if you manage to find more than one legendary Pokémon in the game, you'll be able to collect them all.  Which is a nice bit of relief if you get one that isn't your favorite. Niantic also announced that two more would be on the way shortly, but it really doesn't make up for the fact that they just let down thousands of fans in a major way.
