DC SVP Says Doomsday Clock #1 Will Be The Best-Selling Comic Of The Year, Then Run For 12 Issues

DC Comics SVP John Cunningham told retailers at San Diego Comic-Con that Doomsday Clock #1 is the culmination of everything Geoff Johns has ever done for DC Comics, and that it brings together every bit of history and takes it into tomorrow.

He says that it will be the biggest selling comic of the year, though I'm not sure he's taken into account Asterix And The Chariot Race with its five million first-print run, but there you go.

It was also confirmed that Watchmen-style, Doomsday Clock will run for 12 issues. Let's look at those images from yesterday:
