Jakks Pacific's San Diego Comic-Con Panel In 61 Photos – Will We Get A Nightwing Toy Now?

Jeremy Konrad writes from San Diego Comic-Con:

Giveaways were the name of the game this afternoon at the Jakks Pacific panel at SDCC, as they brought an array of product with them to give to loyal fans of their Big Figs line and World of Nintendo figures and role-play items.

They started by discussing their line of DC Comics figures, and introducing us to their Justice League wave. Every member of the league was well represented, including an improved Wonder Woman with cloak that does her justice, where they admittedly got her wrong with their previous figure. Right now, she is only available at Walmart.

They also gave us a look at some work that goes into making a figure with Aquaman. Aquaman got a big applause from the people in the room — more than any other member.

After that was Star Wars, where they spent quite a bit of time on their SDCC exclusive for this year: the Hildebrandt Darth Vader. They did tease that they will have Last Jedi stuff, but in what will be a theme this weekend, nothing was shown.

On to the best part of the panel: WWE. Not only are wrestling buddies making a comeback with Finn Balor, but they are doing a line of wearables from our favorite superstars. I CAN BE MACHO MAN. There will also be a replica Women's Title exclusive to Toys R Us to pair with the Men's Title that was out earlier this year.

Finally, we got to World of Nintendo, where they showed off their line of role-play items for Splatoon, along with their first figures from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, new plushes, and figures in a few different scales.

We also had a fan poll! Four DC characters were shown and we were given a choice between Resurrected Superman, Reverse Flash, Nightwing, and Aquaman as the next figure released. I think I was the only one who clapped for Superman. Nightwing won by an overwhelming margin.

So I guess look for him soon!
