New Horrifying Trailer Drops For 'The Evil Within 2'

If you're ready to give your nightmares a little fuel, Bethesda just may have what you're looking for. The Evil Within 2 is set to hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 13, but before we get there, the developers are going to give you every reason to get freaked out and confused as to what is actually going on. Today they dropped a brand new trailer which they've called "Survive" and it gives away a few details on a still largely blank canvas.

This is a real glimpse into the world, the monsters, the gameplay, and pieces of the story where it appears you've done wrong by your daughter in a house fire and now she's on the run from someone terrible. Or is she the terrible force as you seem to hear her blame you. A LOT! We'll let you put the pieces together, but first, here's Bethesda's short description of the trailer before you enjoy it below.

"In The Evil Within 2, you are free to explore as much or as little as you choose, and upgrade your weapons and yourself accordingly. Do you prefer a stealthy approach, complete with setting traps and sneaking around threats in your path? Or would you rather go in guns blazing and take down anything that dares to stand between you and Lily? Or, perhaps, you'll mix and match gameplay styles to suit your mood."
